πŸ’°This is How Much $$$ You ACTUALLY Make as a Data Analyst

March 22, 2025β€’2 min read

This week, I studied 6 different data analyst jobs, ranging from $35k all the way to $185k.

Here's the big 10 things I learned if you want to get paid the big bucks πŸ‘‡

1 - College degree? Yep. Bachelor's listed on 5/6.

2 - Focus Excel, SQL, Tableau. Been talking about this for months.

3 - Tons of job titles. Don't just limit yourself to data analyst.

4 - Master's degree? Not needed. Only listed 1/6.

5 - Senior doesn't mean more money. A senior role paid $85k and a normal role paid $185k. Location & industry matter.

6 - Data jobs aren't just "tech" jobs. These jobs were focused on food waste, motorcycles, & museums.

7 - Small companies need analysts too.

8 - Most salaries seemed lower than I thought they'd be. Bummer, I know.

9 - Less remote jobs than usual. Only 1/6 was remote friendly.

10 - This is a small sample (only 6 jobs). Don't take this for THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH.

By the way, I found all the jobs on my data job board, FindADataJob.com! It's 100% free so use it every day!
