1. Start on the LinkedIn home page

2. Click the search bar

3. Search for “Hiring Data Analyst”

4. Click posts

5. Click “Sort by”

6. Select “Latest”

7. Hit “Show results”

8. Scroll through the posts until you find a post from a human (CEO, recruiter, hiring manager, etc) that states they are hiring.

9. Read the job description

10. If it’s a fit, apply

11. Send a cold message to the poster

Do this, and you’ll 10x your odds of landing an interview.

Admittedly, this is a lot more work than just using something like Indeed or LinkedIn Jobs. There are a lot of steps and there aren’t really any filters to narrow down the results.

But it’s worth it.
